If i had the chance to ask Rob a question it would most definitely wouldn’t be Twi related. I mean what could you ask that Summit hasn’t already pimped out in some way, shape or form? My chances are slim to none i’m afraid :(. Good luck to those who enter!!!

I think they need to amend their terms and conditions for this competition because it’s not Australia wide if you read the T&C

Both Tasmania and Northern Territory residents are ineligible to enter.

Update: Hoyts D have confirmed that it’s only NSW, VIC, WA, QLD & SA, but have said this is NOVA’s competition. I’ve put in a query to NOVA – they better respond.

Otherwise legally, no resident of Tasmania or Northern Territory is eligible to enter.

So, I’ve just skim read the Terms and Conditions of the comp. Doesn’t sound like the winners (all 5 x2 of them) even get to meet Rob, just get GA (general admission?) tickets to the event, which is to be held at Fox Studios. And they’ve valued those tickets at $40 ($20 each). Surely if it’s at Fox they want a crowd? I have no idea, and I have often been accused of wishful thinking, but I’m still hoping there’s a way for the birthday girl (and the rest of us) to score tickets to this event ……. am I dreaming?

The way they’re doing all this seems so wrong. Agree with you Martha, it’s all bullshit.

@Sue its never been a “meet and greet” – I think the 5 VIP guests get to ask “THEIR” question to Rob whilst the other winners get general admission. You are still dreaming @Sue. The only way to get into the event is to win tickets – I believe some tickets will be given away by a few other places, but until those details have been released I won’t say who they are.

Rest assured noone is getting into the venue without winning – not even us.

Well @Lauren – Smallzy is wrong. Let me tweet Nova and let them know they need to update their Terms & Conditions because they state categorically “Relevant States: NSW, VIC, SA, QLD, WA”.

They were saying that if you win the tickets, You won’t get to meet him.

My friend sent a message to Hoyts Distribution, They said there will be a red carpet. Most likely! It hasn’t been confirmed but they said most likely as only 10 people get to go to a fan event…

@Chelsea – yes there will possibly be a red carpet – I was waiting for the official confirmation for that – so people please don’t get all excited. Let’s just breathe and we will let you know exactly what is happening when it’s all been finalised. I was told this on Friday.

Also there will be other double passes given away not by NOVA. If you actually read what the media release says “NOVA is the ONLY radio station giving away tickets”.

I don’t think that’s right about only 10 people going to the fan event. Otherwise why would Nova be holding the competition and giving tickets away every day when only 1 person from NSW can be the VIP.

I think the VIP guest will get to ask Rob their question and the others will be in the venue. It’s NOT a meet and greet so why would they only have 10 people at Fox Studios doing a Q&A.

I agree with you all, this competition is hard and difficult to win, but never loose faith anything is possible. I have been crying all day because I cant get through to Fitzy and Wippa, but look we have 9 more days, do not loose hope.

I feel like emailing Nova and Hoyts Distribution and tell them about this site and you guys. They want Robs biggest fans? Where else would they be but here. After everything you’ve done you deserve to at least be at the fan event.

Lol @Sare thank you so much. Hoyts Distribution knows exactly who we are – I’ve had a relationship with them since 2009. Alas that means nothing as I found out today.

As for Nova. They have yet to return any of our emails, tweets, etc etc – even though I’ve been trying to explain to them today that their claims that all of Australia can enter are misleading given that their Terms and Conditions clearly state only 5 States. It’s actually a breach of trade practices … I guess they might have to find that out the hard way.

They’re all just big butt heads lol

I got a message from Hoyts, They said it’s true, The red carpet will be happening. All we need is the info!

@chelsea I know and if everyone could be a little patient I will tell them the info as soon as its officially released. I have known this since Friday – its just not my style to create a frenzy when we don’t have official details.

And the reason I do this is not to keep everyone in the dark, but things change from day to day. We all remember Sunrise’s big announcement of their competition to walk the red carpet with Rob don’t we … did the competition take place. That would be NO. Did we ever find out why … nudda.

Hey Guys, I just realised Fitzy and Wippa were also giving away tickets (Ooops) , Anyways it says in the terms and conditions you have to be over 15 to go.
I’m 14, 15 in a few months but the problem is….
As Smallzy is also giving away passes to go, They said if you under 18, You must have an adult acommpaning you but it’s the same event, so i’m confused as they have two different age restrictions.
I’m gonna ring Nova soon but would any of use have a clue?

@Chelsea I don’t even think NOVA know what the hell their terms and conditions are about. As far as I’m concerned their terms and conditions have been cut and paste from other competitions. They also claim that it’s a competition across Australia, but they’ve ignored me when I’ve reached out to them to say they are misleading the public because Northern Territory and Tasmania are EXCLUDED.

Chelsea I didn’t see anywhere in the terms and conditions that said you had to be over 15 to enter. The terms state if you are under 18 you have to be accompanied by an adult. So if you won, you wouldn’t be able to take one of your friends unless they were over 18 years of age.

I wouldn’t waste my time ringing Nova.

LOL I just noticed their terms and conditions are CURRENT AS AT 17 May 2012. Um I don’t think even Rob knew he was coming to Australia for BD PT 2 promotion then.
