Now I know we don’t usually post printed interviews BUT this snippet from David’s interview was too good not to share:

There’s a really magic shot in the film — perhaps my favorite moment in his performance, also — when he’s stumbling down the alley with the gun, and he’s looking for Paul Giamatti, and there’s this particular look that comes over his face in that one moment and you can see his derangement. It was really wonderfully played.

Cronenberg: Yeah, it was beautiful. It was the only take that Rob did exactly that on, and I thought, Well that’s the take. It was unexpected. I mean, Rob was constantly surprising me, I have to tell you, with things like that. Lovely, lovely things that were spontaneous but dead-on.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the interviewers question & David’s response.  And of course the scene they’re talking about *looks above*  It too, is one of my fave moments in the film. No words to describe how BRILLIANT Rob is. All of us who have seen the film are in complete agreeance I know. Reading praise like this for Rob is something that I can never get enough of. I cannot wait for the day when Rob & David work together again – the two of them together are just pure magic 😀

You can read the full interview right here.

It was definitely one of the highlights for me – the face, the way he jiggled his gun and that swagger. Rob is an amazing talent and to hear/read such praise from such a respected man as David is pure bliss.
