Well really it’s Rob that won since there would be NO Edward Cullen without Rob I don’t care what anyone says.  According to Variety Edward Cullen from Eclipse won Best Film Character at the Richard Attenborough Film Awards in the UK.  Rob you should start getting used to winning awards because it’s going to be the same from here on in.  Um but can you please let us know what you have lined up for 2012 – pretty please – the suspense is killing me.

Ain’t that the truth Maria. Rob is BRILLIANT as Edward. It is him & his performance that makes me adore this character. Smart people voting, very smart.

YES – please please can you let us know what you have lined up Rob – PLEASE 😀

I hope his Mum is keeping a scrapbook of all these awards I honestly can’t keep track anymore and this is just the tip of the iceberg!

I spend an unhealthy amount of time wondering what projects are in store for him in 2012, think a film shot in Australia wold be nice *prays* 😀

*amonmykneesprayingtoo* @lise-lou. Yes please I was hoping that he might be doing something with Phil Noyce hence why he watched Salt rather than anything to do with Jolie. I’m suss about him doing something with Peter Berg since he had that meeting with him last year and then the Headmaster vid. Berg has quite a few projects in the pipeline. Then there was that meeting at Dreamworks a few months back. Rob stop teasing us – you know we want to know *batseyelashes*. Oh maybe he’s going to do a revival of West Side Story – Maria, I just met a girl called Maria … hahahaha – yeah well I can dream right. Plus I would have to bend my rules of “no musicals” eeek – Rob would be the only person who could make me sit through one.

Ah yeah am rambling – sorry just having a break at work shhh don’t tell them.

I won’t tell if you don’t tell anyone I am at home and still in my pj’s! LOL

I know he is such a tease, I have 2 extremes on my wishlist, something really dark and evil or a comedy. At least one thing is guaranteed whatever he decides on he will be phenomenal!

Ain’t that the truth lise-lou. Whatever project Rob decides on next he will be A M A Z I N G!!!!!! Oh & I love the thought of evil Rob!! Rob would be brilliant in a comedy too. He’s so naturally funny. Just brilliant at everything is Rob – absolutely brilliant.

@lise-lou – I really want him to do the Confessions of a Sinner – I’m so hoping it’s true that Rob currently has the script. A “yes” for a comedy – you know there are rumours abound that there is going to be a Les Grossman film and let’s face it – Tom Cruise is not stupid when it comes to knowing who is going to bring in the money – Les I have two words for you “Show Me The Money” hahahaha.

PS. I sometimes want to come to work in my PJs 😀

A Les Grossman film would be fantastic!!!!!!!!! Come on Tom we are counting on your to make this happen! Would love him to do Confessions as well. Both of those would meet my wish list 😀 but really anything (except a franchise movie) would be amazing.

I LOVE to be in my pj’s!! My fave clothes 🙂

So true @Maria, there certainly wouldn’t be Edward without Robert. He sure does deserve all this awards and more. I’m sure the future will give him lot’s more. And I can’t wait either to see what he brings us in 20012.

Congratulations to him! Robert gave the life to Edward and he did it perfectly. I hardly wait to see him in his next movies. In each of them he would be extraordinary.

Thanks for all that info Maria. The possibilities are intriguing. Rob has earned a rest after the last 2 years; however I am very eager to learn what roll he has chosen next. It is wonderful that his work as Edward has lead to this situation, where he can be pick & choose from quality projects

I totally 100% agree that No ONE else could have played Edward as perfectly as Rob does. The more I watch the movies the more I see the little subtle touches he has put into the character. He is just awesome.
Yeay for Confessions of a Sinner – has anyone read it? I am planning to. And I think he would love to do a comedy as long as the right script came his way. He did say that in an interview. One thing is for sure – whatever he chooses as his next project it will be another brilliant decision – he has such a good head on his shoulders and knows exactly what he wants to do careerwise.

@ephie I’ve had the book ever since there was a hint Rob was reading the script – it’s no 1 on my “holiday reading list”.
