Well I finally received my Remember Me DVD on Friday and couldn’t wait to listen to the commentary – it doesn’t disappoint and I won’t spoil it for those who haven’t received their DVD yet.  But this post isn’t about me – it’s about Entertainment Focus voting Remember Me their no. 1 choice of films for the first 6 months of 2010.  God I just can’t even begin to tell you how grateful and excited I am that someone has the guts to post that this film is by far the best thing to come out of Hollywood in a long time:

“Without further ado, here are the Top 10 films of 2010 so far…

blah blah blah (ok that’s my insert but you can read their full list by clicking on highlighted link above)

 No 1
Remember Me

Thanks Ephie for the tip – it’s made my day!

Thank you Entertainment Focus for having the sense to vote Remember Me number 1 film for the first 6 months of 2010. You are clearly very smart people with taste. It makes me happy beyond words to see RM & all involved receive the credit they so truly deserve. I have truly not seen such a brilliant, beautiful, real, so well acted, written & directed film in a very very very long time. This movie is definitely the best thing to come out of Hollywood in a damn long time. Anyone who doesn’t see or agree with that just has absolutely no idea about anything. I too received my DVD in the mail on Friday & have watched twice now – once with commentary & once alone. Rob’s performance, the film & everything about it never fails to take my breath away. You all know how excited I was to listen to the commentary & as Maria said, it definitely does not disappoaint. You will LOVE it, I can guarantee that. It is brilliant.

Thanks for posting Maria & Ephie for the tip. This news has put a very big smile on my face 😀

You are welcome ladies. Yes, it does deserve its own post. It made my day too. Woo hoo!!! Rob must be proud as punch because he really believed in it and felt that it should be made. And credit should of course be given to everyone else who helped make RM such an unforgettable, moving and wonderful film. Thanks again for posting Maria. I can’t wait to get the DVD on 14 July to watch it again (and again and again…)

I’m glad we are finally seeing more of the positive press that this movie so rightly deserves!!! Still waiting for my DVD but i know without a shadow of a doubt that it will be worth every second!!!!

RM is the best movie to come out of Hollywood. We all know it but it is fabulous to see it recognized.
I got my copy on Fri too but it’s school holidays and I really want to savor having Tyler to myself so I’m going to have to wait. The joke is, I could have waited for the Aust release. It is by my bed and I am oddly comforted by that.
